Quantity & Order Discounts, Promo codes and more.

DigiFabster has a number of ways in which you can offer your customers incentives to make purchases. By offering discounts on quantity or order value, a percentage is deducted from the cart total to help make the order cheaper for your customer and to help secure their custom. Like many online retailers, you can also offer promotional codes and even client discounts to ensure that loyal customer continue to return by giving them money off every time they return.

Most discounts are shown during the the order process on the cart page. When adding parts to the cart the discount will be calculated and added to the order total. Details of the order can be found by click the arrow.

To add discounts, navigate to the Discounts section in your account and click 'Add Discount' at the top of the page.

Click on the discount you want to offer and follow the instruction below.

Promo Discount

Add the name of the Discount, for example 'Happy New Year' and the percentage that you want to offer as a discount. Finally add the code that your customers will use when checking out. You can then send this code out to your customers via email or add it to a banner on your website.

When adding their order details, customers can add the code to the 'Promo Code' box and they should see the discount added to their order.

Client Discount

Add the name of the discount for example 'Loyal Customer' and the percentage that you want to offer as a discount. Finally add the customer email addresses that you would like to have access to this discount.

When your customer has added parts to their cart, the order total is shown at the bottom of the screen with the client discount. Clicking the arrow to the right will show a breakdown of the order.

Order Discount

Add the name of the discount, for example 'Value Discount'. You then have to add the discount percentage you want to offer and the threshold that the discount will be applied. You can add multiple thresholds so that higher value orders get a better discount.

When your customer has added parts to their cart, the order total is shown at the bottom of the screen with the order discount. Clicking the arrow to the right will show a breakdown of the order.

Quantity / Batch Discount

First add the name of the discount for example 'Quantity Discount' and select the materials that you want to offer this discount for. You then have to add the discount percentage and the quantity threshold at which the discount will be added. You can add additional thresholds so that orders with higher qty's get bigger discounts.

When your customer has added parts to their cart, the order total is shown at the bottom of the screen with the qty discount. Clicking the arrow to the right will show a breakdown of the order.

Note: This discount will not show in the Bulk Pricing Table (top right). To fully utilize this table you need to use per part and batch pricing in your pricing algorithm.

Hourly Discount

First, add the name of the discount , for example 'Hourly Discount'. You then have to add the discount percentage and the time threshold at which the discount will be added. You can add additional thresholds so that orders with longer manufacture times get bigger discounts.

2D Cutting Material Discount

First, add the name of the discount , for example 'Material Discount'. You then have to add the discount percentage and the material usage threshold at which the discount will be added. You can add additional thresholds so that orders that create less wastage get bigger discounts.
