Primary Roles: Key for Daily Operations

The following roles are the backbone of DigiFabster’s user management system, designed for key team members involved in running the business and handling customer interactions.

1. Company Owner

The Company Owner role has the highest level of access and control within the platform. Users with this role can:

• Access all features and settings in DigiFabster.

• Manage users and assign roles.

• Configure live pricing settings and discounts.

• Oversee order management, workflows, and reporting.

This role is typically reserved for business owners, top-level managers, or administrators who need complete oversight and control over the platform. It’s important to limit this role to trusted individuals, as it grants full access to sensitive business data.

2. Salesman

The Salesman role is designed for members of your sales team who are responsible for handling customer interactions and managing orders. Users with this role can:

• Manage orders and customer quotes.

• Apply discounts to customer quotes.

• View customer details and sales reports.

However, salesmen cannot edit live pricing or change core company settings. This ensures that only authorized personnel, such as the Company Owner, can make critical adjustments to pricing structures. The Salesman role is perfect for team members who need to handle day-to-day sales tasks without access to sensitive configuration settings.

There are also a few auxiliary roles.

3. Blocked Client

• Used to revoke a user’s access to the platform.

• Typically applied to inactive or unauthorized users.

4. Sandbox Owner

• For testing features in a safe, non-production environment.

• Allows experimentation without affecting live data.

5. Vendor

• Designed for OEM vendors or production partners.

• Vendors can view order details but cannot access pricing or core business settings.
